EURISCO International, in volontary liquidation
Training
One of EURISCO's major missions from the beginning has been to define and give courses and tutorials on cognitive sciences and engineering, as well as supervise graduate students in cooperation with university labs that are part of EURISCO's network.
From 1992 to 2000, EURISCO was involved in the development of cognitive engineering courses at SUPAERO (Ecole Nationale Suprieure de l'Aronautique et de l'Espace) and ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile). EURISCO staff is still involved in teaching activities at SUPAERO and ENAC. EURISCO helped found the DESS IHM (Diplme d'Etudes Suprieures Spcialises en Interaction Homme-Machine - HCI Masters). EURISCO leads and is the main provider of tutorials for the Professional Course on Human-Machine Systems of the SAE (Societé des amis de l'ENSAE et de l'ENSTA) .
From the 21st of April 2004, EURISCO is the main Scientific and
Industrial Research Center of the Institut de Cognitique (IdC), a
unique institute of technology that is devoted to the training and
education of undergraduate and graduate students in cognitive
engineering (cognitique). IdC and EURISCO have agreed to cooperate
toward the definition of training and research topics in cognitive
engineering. EURISCO provides IdC's students with appropriate
professional training. IdC's professors contribute in the development
of EURISCO research agenda.
EURISCO is also officially involved in the ERASMUS RESEARCH MASTERS in
Cognitive Science, coordinated by the University of Bordeaux II, that
includes the Universities of Bordeaux I,
Pau et Pays de l'Adour,
Montpellier II,
Mons-Hainaut (Belgium),
Milan (Italy),
Malte,
ESTIA (Bidart-Bayonne)
and the Academia Militar of Lisbon (Portugal). EURISCO
welcomes doctoral students in Cognitive Engineering from IdC.
